Many fashion designers define what they do as “solving a problem,” which first requires getting to the root of it. In this fairly new course we’ve launched with Otis College of Art and Design, fashion history is the central focus. This particular assignment involved identifying a contemporary designer whose past collections were influenced by historical inspiration. Cristiane Neves found similarities between these two looks: the first being a princess gown by Moschino, and the second being a vintage dress of the same silhouette, by Charles Frederick Worth.
Physics-Based Synthesis for Games and Interactive Systems
